Opening Times
Hollywood Studios is opened year round. General admission starts at 09:00. When you are staying at a Disney hotel you can get early access most days.

Closing times vary depending on the season and is usually between 21:00 and 22:30.

Check the operating schedule for 2018 for more details on opening and closing times.

Getting there

Walt Disney World Resort is located southwest of Orlando, off Interstate 4, west of Florida’s Turnpike. On the I-4 take the relevant Walt Disney World Exit.

Take exit 64 if you are heading to the Magic Kingdom or Hollywood Studio’s. For Animal Kingdom and Blizzard Beach you’d do best to take Exit 65 and exit 67 will lead you to Epcot, Typhoon Lagoon, Disney Springs and the Boardwalk. After the exit just follow the signs for the park you will be visiting.

From the Tampa Area
Take I-4 East to Walt Disney World Exits

From Miami or Ft. Lauderdale
Take Florida’s Turnpike North to Osceola Parkway West (exit 249) to Walt Disney World Exits

From Orlando International Airport
Take OIA South exit (FL 417S – Toll) to Osceola Parkway West (exit 3) to Walt Disney World Exits

From Interstate 95
U.S. Highway 1 or southbound on Florida’s Turnpike: take I-4 West to Walt Disney World Exits

From Southbound Interstate 75
Take Florida’s Turnpike South to Interstate 4 West to Walt Disney World Resort Exits

Parking
Standard parking for a car or motorcycle costs $22 per day. If you are driving a camper or other oversized vehicle parking will be $27 per day.From the car park you hop on a shuttle to take you to the entrance of the theme park. If you wish to park closer to the park entrance you can opt for preferred parking, which will cost $45 per day for a car or motorcycle.

Echo Lake

Just past Hollywood Boulevard you will encounter Echo Lake, where you can train to be a Jedi, go on a 3-D tour through the stars, catch the Indiana Epic Stunt Spectacular and sing-a-long with the Frozen show.

Grand Avenue

Here you will find the Muppet Vision 3D experience, with a 25 minute Muppet Extravaganza. After your run in with the Muppets you can curb your appetite in one of the amazing restaurants in this park of the park.

Toy Story Land

The newly opened Toy Story Land is all it promisses to be. A small area of Hollywood Studios completely dedicated to Toy Story. Meet Woody and Buzz Lightyear and go on an adventure in Toy Story Land.

Animation Courtyard

Explore Walt Disney’s creative legacy through a multimedia journey and preview the concept art and models of upcoming park additions. Then go to view movie props from Star Wars before immersing yourself in the live musical about the Little Mermaid.

Sunset Boulevard

Sunset Boulevard is for the daredevils. Ride the Rock ‘n Rollercoaster featuring Aerosmith, where you race off in a stretch limousine through the freeways of LA to get to a concert in time. Then ride the haunted elevator of the Twilight Zone’s Tower of Terror. For some musical interludes catch Beauty and the Beast live on stage or Fantasmic, a show full of pyrotechnics.

Attractions at Hollywood Studios

Tower of Terror

Step aboard the haunted elevator on the Twilight Zone’s Tower of Terror. Hold on tight as you make your way into another dimension and as the elevator goes completely crazy tearing up and dropping you when you least expect it.

Rock 'n Roller Coaster

Race through the streets of LA in a super stretch limousine on your way to an Aerosmith concert. Along the way you will speed past some famous landmarks of the city. Are you brave enough to drive in the fast lane? 

Alien Swirling Saucers

Blast off in your toy rocket, on this brand new ride, into space as the aliens take you on an interstellar ride. And if you are lucky you may just be “chosen” by the claw!

Star Tours

Jump into hyperspace with this thrilling #D tour of the Star Wars Galaxy. This motion simulated space flight on a Starspeeder 100 will bring you face to face with Kylo Ren and give you the chance to see Jakku, Naboo and Coruscant.

Toy Story Mania

Get inside and start blasting away moving targets in this 4D shooting game. Along the way you will meet all your favorite Toy Story characters. It’s a carnival style game set, so come and try all 5 games.

Slinky Dog Dash

This family friendly rollercoaster twists around hills, curves and drops. Hop on with Slinky Dog as he tries out this coast from the Mega Coaster Play Kit. It’s going to be a crazy ride.

Entertainment at Hollywood Studios

Jedi Training

In the Trials of the Temple you will be taught in the way of the Force. Watch Younglings put their skills to the test against the Dark Side when they are face with the greatest villians from the Star Wars Universe.

Voyage of the Little Mermaid

The Little Mermaid’s magical underwater world comes to live to the sounds of music and with amazing puppeteers. Enter the world where Ariel had her adventures before she could walk among the humans.

Indiana Jones

Warch Indy and Marion perform some spine tingling stunts with special effects to demonstrate the magic of film making. You even have the chance to be a costumed extra on the set. Just put your hand up!

For the First Time in Forever

Let it go with all your friends from Disney’s hit movie “Frozen”. The royal historians retell the story of Arandelle and of Ana and Elsa. Sing along with your favorite songs and join in on all the fun.

Fantasmic

This night you get to see Micky’s dreams. In the extravagant musical Disney heroes and princesses are conjured by Micky’s imagination. But when the villians try to steal the show, Micky will surely save the night before the dream turns into a nightmare.

Getting around Hollywood Studios

In the Park

Everything in the park is within walking distance. To travel between the parks, you can take one of the regular buses that travel via the on-site resorts as well. From Hollywood Studios you also have the option to take the boat to Epcot.

 

Staying at one of the on-site hotels?

There is a regular bus service that operates between all resorts and the different parks. You can also take the ferry to get from your hotel to the park.
